5 DIY exfoliators for healthy skin

Exfoliation is the most important step in every skincare. Exfoliation helps our skin to get rid of dry and dead skin cells. Exfoliation maintains the texture and complexion of skin by treating dull skin. Exfoliation provides glow and brightens skin. But always using the exfoliator which is made of the chemical can lead to serious skin damage after long use. So here I am going to suggest 5 DIY exfoliator which makes skin clean and glowy. Plus it is safe to use.

Orange peel granule and honey -

Orange peel granule is a versatile ingredient. It lightens the skin tone, provides glow, reduces pimples, scars, marks, and fades dark circles away. Orange peel granule is a natural skin whitening ingredient and leaves your skin firm. Honey is a moisturizing agent which moisturizes your skin and makes it soft and subtle. Let’s check out the DIY. Grinde the orange peel in the grinder. Remember do not make its powder. Keep the size of the granule small. Now mix the 1 tablespoon of orange peel granule in 1 tablespoon of honey. Mix it well and exfoliate gently. Wash your face and you will feel instant clear and soft skin. Exfoliate twice or thrice a week. You can replace your regular exfoliator with this DIY.

Brown sugar, olive oil, and wild turmeric -

This mixture will make your skin soft and brighten. Brown sugar helps to remove the dead cells from the surface of the skin resulting in the radiance of the skin. Brown sugar makes skin shiny and radiance due to glycolic acid present in it. Brown sugar has antibacterial property which reduce pimples. Brown sugar also has a great effect on a suntan. Olive oil nourishes the skin deeply. Olive oil moisturizes the skin and boosts the complexion. It also makes the skin soft and firm. Olive oil also brightens the skin. Wild turmeric improves skin texture, reduces acne breakouts, brightens the skin, and provides a glow. Mix 1 tablespoon of brown sugar into 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Add a pinch of wild turmeric and mix them well. Massage on face and keep for 3–4 minutes. Wash it off. You need no moisturizer after exfoliation as the mixture contains olive oil. But dry skin people should apply moisturizer. Apply this DIY thrice a week. You can apply this mixture to the body too.

Rice flour, aloe vera gel, and almond oil -

We all know about aloe vera gel. After all, it is an all-rounder ingredient. Aloe vera has a calming and soothing property that reduces sunburns, skin irritation and reduces acne breakouts. Aloe vera also moisturizes the skin and fades the blemishes away. Almond oil improves the skin tone, provides a good shape and texture to the face. Also, it moisturizes the skin and delivers essential nutrients to the skin like vitamin A, E, and omega 3 fatty acids. Rice flour is a good exfoliator and known for its skin whitening property. It helps in sun damage, slows down the process of aging, provides glow and radiance. The bottom line is, the mixture of these 3 ingredients will do wonders for your skin. Take 1 teaspoon of rice flour, half tablespoon of aloe vera gel, and 1 tablespoon of almond oil. Mix it well and apply it to the skin. Make sure granules of rice flour are not so rough as they will cause irritation of the skin. Keep granules small and massage with light pressure. Use this DIY twice a week for clear and bright skin.

Oats and honey -

This DIY exfoliator is amazing as it has oats. Oats are great for skin cause it contains anti-inflammatory property and antioxidant which promotes good skin health. Plus oats has vitamin B1 which lighten the skin, vitamin E which treat uneven skin tone and it also has zinc which resolves dry skin issue. We have already talked about honey in one of the previous DIY exfoliators. Let’s check out DIY now. Mix half tablespoon of oats into 1 tablespoon of honey. Add more honey if you need it. Make a smooth paste and massage softly. Let it sit on the skin for few minutes and then wash it off. Dry skin people can use this paste as their regular exfoliator. Remember to moisturize the skin with moisturizer or oil.

Coffee and jojoba oil -

This DIY gonna be a great exfoliator of all time. This DIY not only exfoliates your skin but also treats skin issues. The DIY contains coffee which slowdowns the aging process, removes dark circles, lightens skin tone, maintains the ph value of the skin, treats puffy eyes, and fades the dark spots. The jojoba oil treats the fine line and wrinkles, moisturizes the skin, and helps your skin to fight pollution. Jojoba oil has lots of antibacterial, antioxidant, and antifungal agents. This helps in killing small bacteria and fungal infections which causes skin problems. Also, jojoba oil is suitable for all skin types. Let’s jump on the DIY. Add 1 tablespoon of coffee into 1 tablespoon of jojoba oil. Form a smooth paste and apply it to the skin. Massage with light pressure as coffee granules may be rough on the skin. After using this mixture, your skin will feel instant rejuvenation. Use this paste twice or thrice a week.
